Our story begins in 2015, when we opened our first restaurant in North Wales, serving up authentic Mexican cuisine. After seven successful years, we decided to get back to our roots and focus on our true passion - street food. We now run pop-ups throughout North Wales, bringing the taste and spirit of Mexico to every event we attend. Our team is comprised of brother and sister duo, Christopher and Anna Higson, along with their mum Claire and a close group of friends who all share a love of Mexican cuisine.
Our Events
From residencies in cafes to collaborations with other businesses, Pontoon Pwllheli has been on a journey to share our love for authentic, delicious Mexican food for a long time. Our pop-ups and stalls have been a hit at a variety of events. Our dishes are inspired by our travels around Mexico and the people we've met along the way, and we're proud to offer fresh, high-quality meals that take your taste buds on a trip to Mexico!

Our cocktails have been a fan favourite for years, and we are proud to bring traditional Mexican spirits and traditional beverages (with some of our own twists) to our customers.
Catering Services
We cater at events, food festivals, host dining events and love to collaborate with other local businesses such as Cig Carw Llyn Venison, North Wales Grub, Two Islands Icecream and &Caws
